Bought this in FDE. Looks like quality material. Nice and solid feeling but very light. Easy to install. Four screws in the corner solidifies it even more. I installed a Troy Modular grip and it's very stable. I love the push butten swivel slots as it makes it easy to mount a sling.
Will take it to the range this weekend and test it!

I replaced my loose plastic hand guard with the Troy-bolts up tight and groups improved by 5/8 inch @ 50 yards-very satisfied. Dagga!

I bought this locally as an initial upgrade for my AR. It's a solid product, and has sold me on Troy products.
Now I'm going to sell it to help pay for a new Troy 12" MRF-CX BattleRail.
If I need an accessory, Troy will always be my first stop.

I just installed my new battlerail on my M4 type AR-15 and I couldn't be more impressed. I'm a US Marine and am very familiar with free float type railed hand guards. Troy's drop-in rail has just as solid of a mounting platform as you can get. Great Job Troy!
