Quality all the way |

I purchased one of these adapters at a local gun show and I must say this is a well made product. A friend an I tried to pull it apart and couldn't do it. The only negative thing I can say is that it adds just enough thickness that I can't lock my stock in the full collapse position. That issue aside I'll be purchasing more Troy products.

Pro Sling Adapter |

As with all Troy products. Fit and finnish is of the highest rate. No complaints there. I purchased 2. One for my LWRC 6.8 SPC and one for my old Bushmaster which I upgraded with Midwest Industry or YHM buffer tube (can't remember).
To make a long story short, neither a Magpul or VLTOR stock will engage in the closed position on either a mil-spec or commercial size tube. We just couldn't back out the tube enough to make it work. It's annoying not having the stock locked-in so I just opted for a simple YHM sling mount for both rifles. Shucks. I really wanted to use the Troy.
My complaint is that the Troy website does not mention that this might be a problem. I wouldn't have ordered it or I would have purchased just one from Brownell's where at least I could return it. Now I'm stuck with $98 of parts I can't use. It's a great part, just make sure it works as you would like before purchasing or at least so you can return it.

I have new found hope for TROY Industries. I can't say I can take the credit for the changes in the new mount Troy Ind sent me, but the improvements were great. Troy Ind. responded to my review and upgraded the product and sent me a new one. I mounted the new sling mount without any problems and it works outstanding. Thank you very much for the good costumer service relations and keep up the good work. I own several of the products you sell and I must say your handguard rail platforms are fantastic.

PRO GRADE SWIVEL SLING ADAPTER |

DISPITE THE PRIOR POOR REVIEW AND WITH ANOTHER COMPANY'S ADAPTER THAT DID NOT EVEN FIT THE BUFFER TUBE ON MY M4, I DECIDED TO IGNORE THE SOLITARY PRIOR REVIEW AND ORDER THIS UNIT ANYWAY.
WORKS BETTER THAN ADVERTISED. TOOK ME ONE TO TWO MINUTES TO INSTALL. THE ALLEN WRENCH CAP SCREW FIT AND TIGHTENED WELL. NO STRIPPING. THE UNIT ITSELF FIT VERY NICELY OVER THE CASTLE NUT. THE ANCHORAGE AROUND THE NUT IS SOLID AND FLUSH. THE PUSH BUTTON SWIVEL RELEASE WORKS WELL AND IS SOLID. I MAKE MY OWN ONE AND TWO POINT SLINGS.
THE ONLY COMMENT I MIGHT MAKE TO TROY IS THAT THEY COULD INCLUDE AN ALLEN WRENCH WITH THE PRODUCT (LIKE ALOT OF THE OTHER MANUFACTURES), BUT THEN I REALLY DID NOT NEED IT, AS I HAVE ALREADY ACQUIRED TOO MANY OF THEM OVER THE YEARS. I MAY WELL GET A SECOND UNIT FOR ANOTHER LOWER THAT I HAVE THAT IS CURRENTLY OUT TO THE SMITH FOR A REFURB.
